Our mission is to offer client-centered treatments.
I have been part of multiple organizations’ executive teams. From 2017 to 2022, I have taken multiple leadership roles for Business Entrepreneurs Toastmasters (BETM), from Vice-President of Public Relations to President. BETM is a non-profit organization that helps people of all ages, genders, abilities, and socio-economic statuses to improve their communication skills (listening, giving and receiving feedback, and speaking). As part of the club’s leadership team, Azusa has organized, prepared, and led meetings, workshops, and speech crafts, while creating an inclusive community.
Based on the CMOP-E model, we believe we can support people in our communities by creating safe spaces to practice their skills and abilities. Supporting local organizations, like BETM and gavel/youth clubs, we provide environments of hope, dignity, and support. We encourage individual responsibility and the creation of support networks; which in turn help in individuals’ rehabilitation continuum.
